Milford Sound | A Symphony of Land, Sea, and Sky

Embark on a journey along one of the world’s most scenic roads as you’re privately driven to Milford Sound. Wind through dramatic landscapes, passing mirror-like lakes, towering waterfalls, and ancient rainforests. The road itself is a masterpiece, carved through imposing mountains and lush valleys. At Milford Sound, board a shared cruise to explore the majestic fiord. Glide past sheer cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. The interplay of light and shadow on the fiord’s dark waters creates a constantly changing canvas. Cap off your adventure with an exhilarating scenic helicopter flight back to Queenstown. Soar over alpine peaks and glaciers, with a potential landing in this pristine wilderness (weather permitting). Note: The helicopter flight is weather-dependent. In case of unfavorable conditions, you’ll return via your private vehicle. The Milford Sound experience is 8.5 hours with return scenic Heli-flight or 12.5 hours by road in case the return journey also has to be done by road.

Choose from a range of optional experiences Alternatively, simply relax in the town’s vibrant center, browsing artisan markets and sampling gourmet treats with spectacular alpine backdrops. The day is yours to craft as you please, embracing the freedom to discover Queenstown’s treasures at your leisure.
