Your vehicle is private. Your guide is private. The core experience inside the day is either exclusive to your party or held as a private time slot. No strangers join the day. No group mergers. No shared guide once you arrive.
Most private tours mean a private car to a shared experience. Ours don't. Every journey on this page has been built from supplier relationships earned over 13 years and more than 1,600 guests. Several of the experiences inside each day exist nowhere else, in this combination, with anyone.
We take a maximum of six guests on all our day journeys. If you are a party of more than 6 adults, please use the "Check Availability" button to get in touch with us. Depending on the specific experience you prefer, we might be able to accommodate more than 6 guests.
Yes, as long as everyone is an adult. There's no child pricing, and a few experiences are adults-only by nature. Families travelling together as adults are welcome.

Book online, pay a 25% deposit. We confirm within 24 hours during New Zealand business hours. Balance is due once confirmed. If a component can't be delivered on your date, you get a full refund or an equivalent alternative.
Your deposit is received instantly. Confirmation follows within 24 hours of the next New Zealand working day.
If a specific part of your day can't go ahead, that part is refunded or substituted with something of equal value. The rest of your day proceeds as planned.
Varies by journey. Please check the specific page. As a rule, our days suit active adults with no major mobility issues. Pace is always adjusted to your party on the day.
Yes. A 20% commission is built into the retail price shown. Advisors can book directly or contact us to confirm arrangements for their client.
Yes, particularly. If you have one free day in port, or you're visiting friends and family and want the day pre-arranged before you arrive, these are built exactly for that.
Yes. If you're already booking a multi-day South of 34° journey, ask us about adding a day journey. If you're travelling independently, book it as a standalone day.
Each journey page lists exactly what's included. As a rule, expect private transport, your guide, and the core experience. Personal expenses and travel insurance are never included.
A 25% deposit secures your date. Cancel more than 7 days out, and you lose the deposit plus any supplier or transaction fees already incurred. The rest is refunded. Cancel within 7 days, and the full amount is non-refundable. Full terms are in our Day Journey Booking Terms and Conditions.
